Introduction to HPC
Computational and data-intensive computing has become more necessary for people whose experience has primarily been in a desktop environment.
This lesson hopes to provide and easy onramp to HPC systems.
Prerequisites
Learners will need an account on an HPC system and desktop or laptop. Specifically learners need:
- hostname of HPC system to log into
- username and password
Getting ready
All you need is a laptop or desktop computer running Windows, MacOS or Linux.
